I love how everything looks when the sun comes out after an ice storm. When everything is coated with layers of ice and it sparkles like well polished silver. When it's so bright that for a moment you forget that it's blasted cold and nobody in their right mind would want to live in a place like this.
This picture doesn't even capture what I saw but you can see the blades of grass, frozen in ice, reflecting the rays of sunlight.
App: PerfectlyClr then MoreMono.
Poor little spruce. All frozen over.
App: PerfectlyClr then BestCamera with Candy and Square filters then final touches with TiltShiftGen.
Gigantic snow flakes followed by rain followed by more big snow flakes followed by geese.
App: Cropulator then CameraBag with Silver filter then BestCamera with Vignette and then MoreMono and Portrait filter, whew!
It's just a matter of weeks now until this field will be covered with rows upon rows of corn and I can't wait!
App: Hipstamatic with BlacKeys B&W film and then processed in PS Mobile.
Our meetings this week are at The Lodge on the McDonald's campus in Chicago. Large windows in each breakout expose awesome views as the one here.
App: PerfectlyClr then BestCamera with Square and Paris filters.
I'm really not one to complain but I'm a Southerner trapped in the wrong climate. That being said, we had the most beautiful snow in Kansas City today. That big, light, puffy kind of snow.
To my colleges in the Renewal by Andersen factory: Please develop a coastal product.
App: CameraBag with infrared filter.
How about this weather?!? Well, at least it's above freezing. I stopped by Blackbob Park on the way home from Church this afternoon to see what I could find. We've had a heavy fog for the last two days and I thought that added to the effect I was looking for in this shot.
This was taken with ProHDR and then modified in BestCamera and even more in MoreMONO to finally get what I was looking for. The last shot was taken in nosFilter and not modified otherwise.
I love my iPhone Camera.
I think this is the last snow picture I will post for a while. On to warmer subjects from here.
We went well above freezing today and the snow began melting into the wonderful slushy, dirty, gunky, windshield film that you can never see through.
