The other night I came out of the VIP room dancing and getting my groove on. I noticed someone else in there with the same freaky moves I had. I mean exactly. I thought to myself, "Man, what a stud! Dude's got some wild moves!" There was an instand bond with this familiar character. As the smoke machine in the shower stopped and the fog began rising I started making out the figure that was dancing with me. At first I could only see feet but the fog continued to rise and when the mirror cleared up a complete stranger was revealed, and he was me.
What the heck was that gut doing on me? I realized I had to do something different.
So here's what I'm going to do...

I haven't seen one of these non-digital, vintage, operational photo booths since Kmart on Government Blvd in Mobile circa 1973ish (you know, right across from the Whataburger?). This one is still working and quite popular at The Record Bar in Westport down in KCMO. I'm going in.
We are in the middle of another extreme Winter snow storm expecting 3-4" overnight.
This Alabama boy does not like snow.
I've been in Kansas City for eleven years and have never seen the weather we are seeing now. It's flipping cold. I don't like snow but one of the good things about it here is it's usually gone soon after it falls. The snow in this picture has been here for twelve days and we are expecting another 3-5" in the next 30 hours. I know my friends in Minnesota are rolling thier eyes reading my complaints here but again, there's really only one reason I live this far north, and she's not moving.
It's so cold that even my Labrador Retriever, Sir Duke Ellington won't even mess with this fire plug.
