We had a great time in Cornhuskerland the past 24 hours. Wish the outcome of the game was a little different but it could have been a lot worse. The fans of the home team were great and fun to be with however it did get a tad bit chilly.
This was the last time these two teams would compete in regular season. I was there.

This is from the northwest corner of the Superior Acura building in Overland Park. I was there getting a used car inspected from a different car lot and was super impressed with the service. When I pulled up the two service writers were busy with other customers so one of the mechanics from the shop came out to greet me. He said they would be right with me and offered a cold drink while I waited. I just wasn't expecting that. Even after the thorough inspection of the vehicle the service writer was very pleasant and gave me his honest opinion of the car. I didn't feel he was trying to sell me anything or push something on me. I'd use these guys again.

This is my office. It's a lot smaller than it looks. I am pretty particular about things. I like things in their place and everything is placed strategically. There's not a lot of paper in my office. I keep everything filed electronically so that I can access it from anywhere. I'm also easily distracted by things so I have to keep my desk clear and clutter free. Each night before I leave my inbox is empty and everything is put back in it's place. It's just how I have to do things.

Today I got to spend time with one of our Measure Techs from work observing his skill and talent. After two hours of working a tape measure and pitch gauge, conducting EPA lead testing and reviewing paperwork with a home owner I worked up a heck of an appetite (watching Tim). So we went to that Mr. Goodcents in Brookside. You know the one? Right there at the main intersection with the panoramic window? Yeah, that one. I always wondered what Brookside looked like from the inside of that window. Well, here ya go. (Those vertical shaded lines are actually the window mullions in the shop)
