You either like them or you don't. I kinda like Southwest. I checked my bags to and from Cleveland just because it was free. Well, and because I didn't want to tote it through Midway. I don't quite understand the logic behind the boarding process as I am a first born and like to have control of my seating selection but I lucked out on all four legs of my round trip. I do like that the flight attendants are genuine even when one of the travelers is annoying them. Most of all I like the red wing tips their aircraft sport. They are just cool.

I sent the kid home again this morning. :-( Her Spring break was cut short by snow days this year so we didn't get a full week with her.  It was a fun trip however and we loved having her.

Hammer365: 089/276 Small Little Plane

I don't think I've ever heard an airline story like this one...  Taylor's flight was scheduled to depart at 1:45 and she arrived at check-in at 1:20, a really big no-no, right?  Well, it gets better, she was scheduled to fly home on Wednesday but showed up at the airport on Tuesday. The check-in agent obviously could not find her reservation until she looked at her travel itinerary again a found the oversight on the date.  Without giving Taylor any kind of attitude or lecture she simply asked if she would like to go ahead and fly today?  Taylor made a quick phone call to Kerry to make sure someone would be able to pick her up and then she just kinda shows up in Kansas City, NO FEES and NO CHARGE.  

Unbelievable!

Note: This was not the airplane she traveled on.
