365 consecutive days, at least 365 shots, just 1 camera, my iPhone. |
That was a painful game to watch. I didn't expect a championship team right out of the shoot but these guys were not playing together or playing smart tonight.

Here's one that has been on my bucket list that I got to mark off today. Chicken Annie's and Chicken Mary's were featured on the Travel Chanel's Food Warriors claiming to have the best fried chicken in Kansas. They are about 200 yeards from each other and there are no other businesses for miles. It's really kinda weird. Tonight we stopped in at Chicken Annie's because they are the original. What an experience.
We stood out like tourists. As we stepped in all of the patrons sat there eating their chicken looking at us. No smiles, just stares. Paneled and brick walls with loads of chicken decor and the smell of fried food. The RedHead was not impressed with the chicken. The meat seemed just right but the skin seemed over done. So far, her homemade chicken is the best in Kansas in my opinion. We'll give Chicken Mary's a try the next time we come through.

The end of another beautiful day in Kansas.

I think this is the last snow picture I will post for a while. On to warmer subjects from here.
Okay, I cheated a little on this one. I couldn't get out today to take grab a fresh shot so I'm posting this one from yesterday of the old Russell Feed and Grain at the corner of 175th and Woodland Road in Olathe.
I spent the day with four new sales reps training and feeding them with knowledge. This is going to be a great year!
