Hammer365: 229/136 His First Moleskine

I know it's only his second day of kindergarten but I thought now is as good a time as any to introduce him to the art of the Moleskine and journaling. What can a kid put in a journal who can only write his name and a few sight words? Reflections of his day, things he is learning, things he is feeling, and dreams. He can't write it all out right now but he can draw it.

The additional shots are of his "Good Day" at school with his new friends and their backpacks, us going to a restaurant for dinner (he was drawing this as he saw what we were having tonight), and guitar man. Not a bad start.

I'm sending one to his sister too. Hopefully they will make this a lifelong habit.

Hammer365: 114/251 Bomber Jacket Circa

As I await the arrival of my iPad I ponder how I will incorporate it into my arsenal of productivity tools without eliminating my prized Bomber Jacket Circa notebook. Just as deeply as I enjoy the digital virtual world I also love analog and paper and pen.

Nothing can replace the feel of my True Writer Obsidian Pen with fiber tip gliding over fine Levenger paper.

Hammer365: 070/295 Pen and Print

Another one of my favorite things is my Levenger Circa notebook.  I love bomber jacket leather. While I'm very digital, I am also very analog and I love fine writing paper and writing instruments. The pen shown here is an ACME Blueprint Rollerball.

Hammer365: 060/305 Journal in Solitude

As much as I love all things digital, I also love analog. There's nothing like sitting down with my Circa notebook and it's fine paper along with my ever so smooth writing ACME rollerball and letting the thoughts flow. I only wish I were more disciplined at doing it.
