Dear Old Dishwasher,
Last week, while I was boarding a plane, you decided to act a fool and stop working. You should have known, The RedHead does not accept a nonworking appliance around here as you saw what happened to the toaster. In the back of her mind, she probably already had your replacement picked out as she immediately went and purchased a shinier, quieter, and more efficient model with a much larger capacity.
I really liked you and thought you was on my team. I always made sure your Jet Dry dispenser was topped off, I always used the little Cascade pods like you like and not that nasty dry powder stuff, I only ran you at night knowing your nocturnal desires, I even pre-washed all of the dishes for you so that you didn't have to work so hard. I really, really liked you. I don't know what I did to deserve what you are putting me through, but since you apparently did not appreciate me, I guess it's only fair to let you know that the new guy can spotlessly clean unrinsed plates from three days before with no problem. He even does it in a way so that I don't even know he's in the room.
Because I like it around here, this afternoon I found myself replacing cabinet pulls, electrical outlets and plates, and door knobs in the kitchen to match the new stud of the kitchen. Now I sit here with graph paper drawing out the kitchen so that she can figure and budget the replacement of the countertops and backsplash to match him as well. Thanks, so much for this opportunity [sarcasm].
One thing is for sure, I'll do whatever necessary not to be replaced by The RedHead.
